As a strategic advisor, Peter works closely with NPHI and its members to help leverage their hospice experience and expertise, ensuring their continued relevance in providing end-of-life care in a value-based healthcare system.
Peter serves NPHI while concurrently working as a partner at the Huntington Consulting Group, which he established in 1996. Before founding Huntington, he was vice president of marketing at VITAS Healthcare, where he developed extensive expertise in sales, marketing, product management, and consulting. He previously served on the Board of Trustees at Intermountain Home Health in Salt Lake City.
Peter resides in Miami, Florida, with his wife and business partner, Kate Callahan, PhD. Together, they share a passion for advance care planning, a topic that has been deeply integrated into Peter’s professional work and advocacy efforts.
