NPHI Board Meets to Review Plans for the Coming Year

[Washington, D.C.] (January 29, 2021) – The National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI), is the national voice for not-for-profit hospice and palliative care providers that care for care more than 100,000 people facing advanced illness and their families each day.

Earlier this week the Board of Directors met to review their plans for the coming year, all focused on NPHI’s vision – That during the last stages of life, every American experience exceptional care that matches their goals, values, and preferences.

Led by NPHI incoming Board Chair Samira Beckwith, Board members along with NPHI President Carole Fisher, discussed several strategies to support and elevate the community based, not-for-profit hospice, palliative, and advanced illness care programs they serve. CEO Tom Koutsoumpas wasn’t able to join the discussion. He was at The White House, meeting with the new administration.
