Robin Shultz, LCSW, ACC, ACHP-SW, serves as NPHI’s Vice President for Member Programs and Engagement, bringing a wealth of experience in hospice and palliative care and a deep passion for transformative healthcare leadership. Her role focuses on strengthening member engagement, fostering meaningful connections, and creating opportunities for collaboration and growth across all levels of membership.
Robin’s background includes developing and leading Inova Health System’s first palliative care program, where she introduced innovative models to support patients, families, and staff during acute illness and end-of-life care. As Director of Geriatrics at Inova, she launched a nonprofit model for in-home primary care for geriatric patients, building over 100 partnerships to enhance care coordination for older adults. Her leadership also extended to Inova’s behavioral health services, where she managed critical mental health and substance use programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As Founder and Principal Consultant of Tribus Solutions, Robin empowers individuals, teams, and organizations to achieve transformative results through leadership coaching, strategic frameworks, and data-driven insights. She blends vision, alignment, and storytelling with a focus on value and quality of life to drive meaningful impact for nonprofit clients.
Robin’s commitment to caregiver well-being is evident in her introduction of Schwartz Center Rounds at Inova Fairfax Hospital, providing a platform for healthcare workers to connect and reflect on their shared purpose. Her dedication to sustainability, innovation, and compassionate care defines her approach to advancing healthcare systems.
Robin holds a B.A. in Journalism and Digital Storytelling from the University of Oklahoma and an MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She began her career on Capitol Hill, working on policy and advocacy before transitioning into healthcare. Robin embodies the belief that “the best is yet to be,” championing health and well-being through bold and innovative leadership.
