Christy Whitney Borchard

Christy Whitney is a founder of NPHI alongside Tom Koutsoumpas and other visionary leaders, helping to shape the organization from its earliest days. She served on NPHI’s leadership team and Board of Directors for many years, guiding its mission with clarity and compassion. 

A longtime advocate for high-quality end-of-life care, Christy was honored for her contributions at the 2024 NPHI Annual Summit in Kansas City. Her decades of leadership and dedication have left a lasting impact on the field and continue to inspire the next generation of nonprofit hospice and advanced illness care providers.
