NPHI Hosts Orientation Session (10.14.21)

Today, the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI) hosted an orientation session open to all NPHI members. The membership heard from NPHI staff including Beth Kurta, NPHI Senior Director of Member Engagement, Stephanie Rogers, NPHI Administrative Services Manager, and Sarah Sharp, NPHI Education & Vendor Relations Manager. This session was a chance for members to learn about current NPHI Initiatives, NPHI Member Engagement calls, and Public Engagement opportunities.

“It’s always nice to hear from the dedicated NPHI staff,” said Tom Koutsoumpas, CEO of NPHI. “I’m thrilled to convene with our entire membership and highlight some of the exciting initiatives our staff and members are working on, including areas like education and health equity.”

The conversation, entitled “NPHI Member Engagement Call: Orientation Session,” was part of a series of NPHI-hosted discussions to address pressing topics in the space through engagement with experts, thought leaders, and innovators.

The discussion was meant as an opportunity to dive into the many services and resources NPHI offers members. Specifically, NPHI staff shared how to be involved in NPHI Forums, Workgroups, and User Groups, and the unique benefits of each. In addition, Beth Kurta, Senior Director of Member Engagement, highlighted the upcoming 2021 NPHI Summit on November 3-5th. While NPHI staff offered details on public facing resources, like the website and social media opportunities, the membership also heard details on the NPHI Member Portal, an opportunity unique to our nearly 80 members to share best practices, circulate resources, and connect with one another.
