Today, the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI) was excited to hold a public relations training session for all members. NPHI Communications Director, Allan Malievsky led a presentation on all things PR-related, including best media pitch techniques for both local and national reporters. In addition, he provided details on social media platforms and how members can effectively tailor their research, news stories, and initiatives to each platform.
“We are proud to highlight such important skills and best practices that our entire membership can benefit from,” said Tom Koutsoumpas, CEO of NPHI. “Learning how to effectively communicate the work of our incredible members is essential and this training session is just the beginning of this conversation.”
The “Media Training” conversation was part of a biweekly series of NPHI-hosted discussions to address today’s pressing hospice topics through engagement with experts, thought leaders, and industry innovators. This discussion was meant to present and educate NPHI’s membership on practical PR-related tactics, resources, and effective strategies. The NPHI communications staff provided an overview on pitching press, utilizing social media, interviewing effectively, and more. If your team is interested in discussing details relating to PR and communications further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to NPHI Communications Director, Allan Malievsky or NPHI Communications Associate, Rachel Jordan.
